Boatload Chronicles

It is sad to see yet another Christmas and another year come and go, but I welcome 2007 with open arms. I do not know what God will have for Christopher and I in 2007, but I look forward to finding out. I do know a few plans we have. Christopher's parents will be here this weekend, and we are very excited about this. We have not seen the Merediths since April. We will have a second Christmas with them while they are here. Christopher wants to fry a turkey and have me make all the traditional Christmas foods and goodies. I'm looking forward to it.

Christmas with my family was great. I was able to see my adorable nephew and niece, and I think they had fun playing with their "Shell and Christober." Christopher was able to meet the Paschals, my mom's sister and her family. And spending time with my sister and brother and sister-in-law was fun as usual.

Just to keep you up-to-date, I am not pregnant, and I will not be taking Clomid this cycle. This means that my body will, once again, be left to take its own course, so who knows how long it will last. I'm hoping and praying that the Clomid will have some after-effects and cause my body to act normally (whatever that is) this cycle. And I have decided to not stress out about trying to conceive this cycle. I am so tired of all the stress and heartache and disappointment. It's hard on Christopher, too. I think a break will do us well. (Let's see how long this little "resolution" lasts, shall we?)

Well, Happy New Year to all! May God pour out His blessings on us this year as we seek to honor Him in all we do.
